Singer/model Cassie Ventura is featured in the May 2012 issue of i-D magazine looking fly. In the issue, the "King Of Hearts" singer talks about her forthcoming sophomore album, maturing as a singer and more. The stills were shot by James White in London back in March.

Cassie recently spoke to Singersroom about modeling overshadowing her music at times. "There was a point where I was like…it’s just not translating, things weren’t bridging because people were constantly seeing me modeling and I don’t think people were really catching my personality in the mix of it all," she tells us. "It’s a difficult challenge and I’m still working on that now. I just want people to really get to know who I am and I think that will inspire people to listen to the music more."
