Mariah Carey performed in Austria for the Top of the Mountain concert earlier today. “It doesn’t get much better than this,” said Tourist Office Director Andreas Steibl almost a month ago in preparation for the concert. “We are proud and excited to announce this exceptional star for the closing concert of this exceptional winter season.”
The Top of the Mountain concert is an annual concert series that marks the ending of every ski season at the luxury Ischgl resort. The concerts have become legendary for the big name stars they include. In the past, stars such as Alicia Keys, Pink, and Tina Turner have graced the high-altitude stage.
Rocking a tight-red ski suit, cropped jacket, black boots, and fingerless gloves, Mimi belted her many hits including”Heartbreaker,” “Touch my Body,” “My All,” and “Make it Happen. After the show, the hit-maker tweeted, “Thank you to all the fans who came out to the show! I hope you liked “Underneath the Stars” which I did especially for the lambs…LYM!”
April 30th also marks the first birthday of her twins Moroccan and Monroe, affectionately called “dem babies.” She also shout-out birthday well-wishes to her twins saying, “Singing at this altitude is almost like giving birth to twins, which I did last year on this day..lol! Happy birthday dembabies!!”
Mariah and hubby Nick Cannon recently celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary on Friday by renewing their vows, a tradition they’ve been doing every year. This year, Paris, France was the destination. Cannon, who has recently publicly battled health problems, admitted he continued to be amazed by his marriage to Carey, saying, “We get married every year; it’s our thing. I just have to keep doing it to make sure it’s real.”
