Beyonce is clear about one thing, despite months of hearing rumors about her pregnancy -- people are "crazy."

"That was crazy. It wasn't hurtful, it was just crazy," Beyonce tells People in her "World's Most Beautiful Woman" cover story. "Where did they come up with this?"

As noted, Beyonce and her baby girl, Blue Ivy Carter, were the subject of many a critic and naysayer from the start of her pregnancy. From talk show hosts like Wendy Williams to bloggers, it was hard to escape negativity that nearly obscured what was to be a beautiful time. According to Beyonce, true love and support from her real fans and those close to her made coping with the rumors easier.

"There was so much love and well wishes from all over the world — it made it easier to deal with the stupid rumors," says Beyonce.

As for the rumors about the actual birth and hospital, Beyonce called that talk "so crazy" and "ridiculous."
