Jury selection has wrapped up for the trial of William Balfour, the man accused of
murdering the family of Oscar and Grammy winner Jennifer Hudson.
A total of eighteen were selected, including alternates, after intense questioning.
According to CBS Chicago, members of the jury include a school teacher, former bank
teller and someone who previously sat on a murder trial jury.
Sources say Balfour was present during the nine hour process as over 50 potential
jurors went through questioning.
Balfour is accused of murdering Jennifer Hudson's mother, brother and nephew in
October of 2008.
The trial is now set to begin April 23.
