Gospel sister duo Mary Mary and Fred Hammond will be honored with an all-star salute during this year's Essence Music Festival.

Set to take place on Sunday, July 8th at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, the all-star salute will feature performances from Yolanda Adams, Maurette Brown Clark, Kim Burrell, Byron Cage, Tyronne Foster & The Arc Singers, Tramaine Hawkins, Israel Houghton, Bishop Lester Love and Pastor Marvin Winans.

According to Essence, the tribute culminates the three day annual Essence Empowerment Experience taking place in New Orleans July 6-8 where attendees will celebrate the power of their spirits and are guaranteed to have an uplifting experience of entertainment and empowerment.

In addition to this all-star salute, Essence confirms rapper/actress Eve, Alex Boyd, Robert Glasper and Gary Clark Jr. have been added to the Essence Music Festival line up.
