Chris Brown has secured the highest charting single of his career in the UK.
“Turn Up The Music,” the lead single from his forthcoming album “Fortune” rocketed to the top of the UK Singles chart Sunday.
Moving 24,000 copies, “Turn Up The Music” tops Brown’s previous UK Singles chart record with “Run It.” In 2006, that single peaked at no.2.
The success of “Turn Up The Music” follows a controversial remix with Rihanna. At this point, that remix has not been released as a separate single.
“Fortune,” Brown’s fifth studio album, is due May 8.
