Chris Brown could be a chart topping artist in the UK come next week.
According to the Official Charts Company, Brown’s rising single “Turn Up The Music” is poised to reach the summit on the UK Singles Chart Sunday.
“Turn Up The Music, is leading this week’s Official Singles Chart charge and could knock current chart-topper Katy Perry’s Part Of Me off Number 1 this Sunday,” reports the OCC. “This would be a personal best for Brown who’s highest chart placing to date as a lead artist was Number 2 with his debut single, Run It!, back in 2006.”
Produced by The Underdogs, “Turn Up The Music” leads Brown’s forthcoming album “Fortune.”
The song is also charting on the Billboard Hot 100. In its sixth week, “Turn Up The Music” is holding at no.25.
“Fortune,” Chris Brown’s new album, is due May 8.
