Despite the chilly temperature in the Bay Area on Sunday night, it didn’t stop the ladies from getting dressed up all sexy for their man Trey Songz. The R&B crooner made his way out to Oakland’s Paramount Theatre while on his Anticipation 2our, alongside rapper Big Sean. With Big Sean’s energetic performance and Trey’s seductive set, the female-majority audience was more than satisfied by the end.
With the help of his deejay, DJ MoBeatz, Big Sean entered the stage and set the energy level for the rest of the night. Sean had the audience live and dancing up out of their seats as soon as he started performing, as he breezed through his slew of hits including, “My Last,” “Marvin & Chardonnay” and “Dance.” The Detroit rapper made sure to keep the crowd entertained the entire time, as he spent the entire time running around on stage and continuously showing love by shouting out Bay Area cities. And just to give Trey a little bit of run for his money, Sean had the female audience screaming every time he lifted up his shirt and did some hip-thrusting.
With Sean setting the bar, Trey entered the stage decked out in his tuxedo and sunglasses with every intention of living up to his dubbed nickname, Mr. Steal Yo Girl. A live band joined the “Sex Ain’t Better Than Love” singer as he performed a bunch of his newest material off of his ‘Inevitable’ EP and ‘Anticipation 2’ mixtape, as well as his old hit singles off of his previous albums. Midway through his set, Trey figured it was time to tease the ladies with more than just his sexual and seductive lyrics and singing voice; it was time for the eye candy that the ladies were screaming for. As each layer of clothing came off, the screams in the venue became more and more deafening. The neighboring inhabitants of the Paramount Theatre sure knew Trey’s name by the end of that night.
