Chris Brown’s Grammy night was not as welcomed as some might have thought. According to several critics and recording artists, including Country singer Miranda Lambert, Chris Brown should not have performed or won any awards.
“Chris Brown twice? I don’t get it. He beat on a girl…Not cool that we act like that didn’t happen. He needs to listen to Gunpowder and lead and be put back in his place. Not at the Grammys,” Lambert tweeted after watching the Grammys.
Not one to bite his tongue, Chris Brown responded Tuesday.
“Hate all u want becuz I got a GRAMMY Now!,” said Brown. “That’s the ultimate F*** OFF!”
Seconds later, the tweet was gone and replaced with “I’m back so watch my back as I walk away from all this negativity #teambreezygrammy.”
Jack Osbourne, who wrote “#chrisbrownbeatswomen” during the Grammys, Eric Stonestreet and Michele Branch also weighed in on Breezy’s win and performances.
I guess it’s safe to say, Grammy producer Ken Ehrlich is one of few willing to give Chris Brown a second chance.
As reported last week, Ehrlich said it was “time” for Chris Brown to return, adding everyone “deserves a second chance.”
