Former Destiny’s Child star Kelly Rowland has landed at No. 3 with the release of her third studio album, ‘Here I Am.’ Lead by the No. 1 single “Motivation,” the set sold 76,399 copies, according to Hits Daily Double. ‘Here I Am’ marks Rowland’s first top 3 album in the U.S. but becomes here lowest first week release. ‘Simply Deep’ debuted at #12 with 77,000 units sold and ‘Ms. Kelly’ came in at #6 with 83,000.

According to reports, Jennifer Lopez will receive a hefty paycheck after resigning with American Idol for a second season. An insider tells TheWrap that J.Lo gets “a smidge over” $20 million with the new contract. This is a huge raise from the $12 million she reportedly earned the first season. American Idol season 11 premieres January 2012.

Justin Bieber experienced what it felt like to be driving while black and yes we know he’s not black. According to reports, the teen star was pulled over by an undercover policeman in Miami while visiting his friend Sean Kingston. A source told Hollywood life: “An undercover police officer was driving behind Justin and [his passenger] Sean Kingston. He pulled them over in front of the restaurant on Ocean Drive because he thought it was strange that this young kid was driving a brand new convertible Rolls-Royce.” Say no more!

While working on her forthcoming album, ‘My Life II, The Journey Continues,’ Mary J. Blige took some time to pen a song for the new film, The Help, because it inspired her. “I wrote the song almost in the theater as I was watching the movie,” Blige told ESSENCE. “Everything that made me cry, I would write it down. Everything that made me laugh, I would write it down.
