Jennifer Lopez was very clever when she took the role as judge on this season of American Idol. The show has helped the Bronx-born singer re-ignite her music career with her latest single landing her highest debut ever on the charts.
“On The Floor” featuring rapper Pitbull enters the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 9, Lopezâs first top ten since she scored a number one with “All I Have” in 2003. The accompanying video premiered during last nightâs (Mar. 3) Idol broadcast.
Lopezâs new album âLove?â will hit stores April 19th.
Elsewhere on the Billboard 100, Lady GaGa has scored a third week at number one with “Born This Way,” which has sailed past the one million downloads mark in the past week to become the fifth bestselling digital track of 2011. Cee Lo Green’s “F**k You” remains No. 2, while Bruno Mars’ “Grenade”, “F**kin Perfect” by Pink and Rihanna’s “S&M” round out the top five.
