Eric Benét will be appearing on the big screen soon. The R&B crooner has been tapped to star in the new movie âTrinity Goodheart,â a film about a visitation from an Angel that leads to substantial discovery of awareness and earth shattering faith questions.
The film is based on an original screenplay by Rhonda Freeman-Baraka centered around a 12-year old girl on a mission to reunite her disjointed family, announced by the producer Rick Eldridge.
Production is set to begin March 1st on location in Charlotte, North Carolina and Joanne Hock, an award-winning cinematographer, has been tapped to direct. The film will have a limited theatrical release and has been acquired by GMC TV for all broadcast television rights.
Child actor Erica Gluck (The Game), who serves in the title role of Trinity, will star alongside Benet.
Benét released his latest album, Lost in Time, in November 2010. As an actor, the âSometimes I Cryâ hitmaker appeared in 2001’s Glitter and on television in the series’ “Half & Half” and “For Your Love.” Trinity Goodheart is his first major acting role.
