Rihanna shows no signs of toning down any time soon but TV bosses aren’t hearing it. The UK Daily Mirror has learned that the video for her new single “S&M” is so steamy, it’s already been banned in 11 countries and counting.

Southern Asian countries immediately banned it, MTV is considering a re-edit, and BBC Radio 1 has vetoed playing it until after 7pm.

As Singersroom recently reported, the ban started with Youtube, who considered the video “inappropriate” for viewers under the age of 18; placing a restriction on the clip with the warning message: “This content may contain material flagged by YouTube’s user community that may be inappropriate for some users.”

RiRi is no stranger to ruffling feathers with her racy visuals; her girl-on-girl action in “Te Amo” previously led to a ban.
