Eric Roberson is a Grammy-nominated American singer, songwriter and producer. He’s well known for his soulful R&B sound as part of the new generation of neo-soul artists. His deep voice has been compared to that of classic singers like Luther Vandross and Donny Hathaway.
Roberson was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and raised in Rahway, New Jersey where he attended Rahway High School. After high school he pursued music production at Full Sail University in Florida. During this time Eric released two independent albums which garnered him attention from major labels leading him to sign with Warner Music Group in 2006. That same year his first major label album “The Appetizer” was released followed by “Music Fan First” (2008), “Mister Nice Guy” (2009) and “Mr. Robinson’s Neighborhood” (2011).
