Topping a list of the year’s top 10 Gospel Songs, Hezekiah Walker & LFC’s “Souled Out” occupies the no.1 spot after spending a number of weeks atop the Billboard Gospel Songs chart. Following close behind, recent Stellar Award nominee Donald Lawrence comes in at no.2 on the list with the praiseworthy hit “Back II Eden”. Marvin Sapp (“Praise Him In Advance”), Mary Mary (“God In Me”), and Maurette Brown Clark (“It Ain’t Over”) round out the list’s top five. James Fortune & FIYA, while not listed in the top five, occupy two spots on the Top 10 list thanks to the inspirational songs “I Trust You” (No.6) and “I Wouldn’t Know You” (No.10). As previously reported, Mary Mary’s 2008 album “The Sound” has been named the year’s top Gospel Album.
