The ink is dry on Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Kelis' new recording deal with Interscope Records.
According to the label, Kelis will release her next album through will.i.am Music Group/Interscope Records in the near future.
"Kelis is a true artist and we're so excited to start this new chapter in her musical life," Jimmy Iovine, Chairman of Interscope Geffen A&M Records said in statement Tuesday.
News of the deal first broke in November when Kelis released the David Guetta ("Sexy Chick," "When Love Takes Over") produced "Acapella".
While a release date has not been set for her will.i.am/Interscope debut, Kelis' album will feature work by some of today's most influential producers including will.i.am, Free School, Burns, DJ Ammo, and Boys Noize.
"I love that I am now a new part of the Interscope family," Kelis said in a statement. "2010 is around the corner and I can't wait to put out new music and spend time with real music fans on tour again."
