Grammy-winning R&B/pop star Usher says he’s sorry about his recent comment that ‘Chris Brown should be remorseful and not riding a jet ski’ ! Just hours after a video was posted with Usher, Jermaine Dupri and Johnta Austin (below) in the studio discussing everything from Christina Milian’s ‘new look’ to Chris Brown and Rihanna, Usher released a statement: “The comments made during a recent recording session amongst friends were taken out of context and blown out of proportion,” says the “Trading Places” singer who had, after catching a glimpse of photos featuring Chris Brown riding a jet ski in Miami last week, called the “Forever” singer out. Stating Brown should “have a little bit of remorse,” Usher went on to say “I’m a little disappointed in this photo. After the other photo (the photograph of Rihanna’s bruised face release by TMZ last month) ? C’mon Chris !” “Have a little bit of remorse man. The man’s on jet skis? Like, just relaxing in Miami ?” Usher’s comments echoed that of several blogs and public relations experts who believed Brown’s photo was inappropriate and could damage his image further. While Usher may have had a point, he, likely after receiving several messages and calls from his camp, decided to issue a retraction of sorts. “I apologize on behalf of myself and my friends if anyone was offended. The intentions were not to pass judgment and we meant no harm. I respect and wish the best for all parties involved.” In related news, Chris Brown and Rihanna have returned to Los Angeles where Brown is expected to face a judge.
