Lil Kim has been checked again for ‘courting’ controversy over Naturi Naughton’s depection of her in ‘Notorious’. According to a statement released earlier this week, Voletta Wallace, the Notorious B.I.G’s mother, says “This is not a Lil Kim Movie”. “This is a Christopher Wallace movie. It has nothing to do with Lil Kim. If she’s disappointed and upset, that is her problem.” Wallace, who previously spoke with Essence about the film, admitted that she’d also like to have a sit down, one on one session with the ‘Queen B’ to get the real truth. Meanwhile, Lil Kim continues to state that she’s not repping for the film, but still reps for Biggie, her one time mentor. Sources close to the film say people, including Diddy and former manager/producer Wayne Barrow are fuming over Lil Kim’s antics. Diddy, who attended the New York premiere for ‘Notorious’ allegedly told reporters âI canât believe this sh*t. This ainât about her. She needs to grow up and stop being a baby.â Diddy’s sentiment has been echoed by Wayne Burrow, Biggie’s former manger and a producer on the movie. “Our job as producers was to deliver for three individuals.” “That’s his mom and his two children. Everybody else. Stand in line, buy a ticket and enjoy the show.” Lil Kim allegedly told Hip Hop Weekly she’d watch the movie on bootleg but is not going to any theater to see it like everyone else.
