Things aren’t getting better for Hollywood star Terrence Howard. According to recent reports the ‘August Rush’ star has been sued for allegedly assaulting a composer during his stint in Broadway’s ‘Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.’ Composer Andrew “Tex” Allen claims he was punched in the head and face repeatedly last winter by Howard, reports the New York Post. Allen, a jazz pianist and brother of famed director Debbie Allen is seeking $5 million in damages according to the lawsuit. As previously reported, Terrence Howard was surprised last week, as were fans, after learning that he would not be starring in ‘Iron Man 2,’ the sequel to the blockbuster film ‘Iron Man’. His role has instead been given to Don Cheadle who will take over the role. No further information was provided at press time in regards to the alleged assault. Howard made his television/film debut in ‘The Jacksons: An American Dream’ in 1992.
