Pink Earns First #1 Hit, Jazmine Sullivan Earns Another Week Atop R&B Charts

Pink scored her first No.1 hit this week thanks to her new single “So What.” According to Nielsen Soundscan, Pink’s “So What” moved 253,000 units in the U.S, kicking T.I.’s “Whatever You Like” out of the top spot. “Whatever You Like” lands at no.2 this week, followed by Rihanna’s “Disturbia” at No.3. This week’s top debut is from Jay-Z’s all star hip-hop track “Swagga Like Us,” which debuted at no.5 selling 139,000 downloads in its first week. The hit song features Jay, T.I., Kanye West, and Lil Wayne. On the R&B charts, Jazmine Sullivan’s “Need U Bad” begins its fourth week at no.1, followed by T.I.’s “Whatever You Like,” Jennifer Hudson’s “Spotlight” and T-Pain’s “Can’t Believe It.” Ne-Yo, who released his third studio album “Year of the Gentleman” this week, had the R&B/Hip Hop Songs Chart’s highest airplay gain this week, moving from 9-5 with “Miss Independent.” Keyshia Cole (“Heaven Sent”) and Young Berg (“Tha Business”) round out the top 10.
