R&B/soul singer Musiq Soulchild will continue to support his latest gold selling album, “Luvanmusiq,” with a bunch of new tour dates through the summer. Musiq will play a handful of U.S. shows over the next few months, including a July 4 gig at the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans. He’ll pick up the pace in August, playing nearly a dozen concerts in the eastern half of the country, about half of which are with Chaka Khan. Musiq Soulchild scored his second No. 1 debut on The Billboard 200 when he dropped “Luvanmusiq” in March 2007.
