Feeling a little down in the dumps lately? Nothing seems to be going your way? If so, the way to get out of feeling like road kill alive is to RELAX and follow these tips to help boost up your self esteem.

Make a “Me” day. Don’t be so stingy…take some time off from your busy schedule to relax. Stay home or go for a walk. Just by taking some time off for yourself will help you keep calm and combat stress.

Indulge yourself. Go ahead and pamper yourself; get a manicure, pedicure, and a massage. You are sure to feel much better and a small thing, such as hot pink nail polish, is a great confidence booster.

Take a long bath. Put on your favorite tunes and bubble up. A warm bath is a great way to relax and melt away the day’s stress.

Read. Reading is a great way to stimulate the brain. With doing so, your mind can be put at ease and stress can seem so far away.

Get Active. The key to great mind, body, and spirit is by staying fit. Not only will you get yourself in shape, working out is said to help boost energy levels which helps boost your confidence level. So go for a jog, hit the gym, or exercise in the privacy of your own room.

Shop, yes, SHOP! Shopping is a great pick me up. No one can deny that a day of shopping isn’t relaxing. Hit up your favorite stores or just stroll around the city looking for new ones. Treat yourself to a little something and watch how instantly your mood changes, for the better!

Catch up with friends. Good friends may be the best therapy and cure-all for anyone. Set up a day, maybe once a week, so that you and your friends can get together. Go to the movies, shopping, dinner, or hit up a club.
