The host of syndicated morning radio show (The Objective Hater) has been fired for making racial remarks on the air about DJ Envy’s wife and sexual remarks about his four-year-old daughter. Troi Torain, known as Star on the “Star and Buc Wild Morning Show” on New York’s Power 105, lost his job after protests by a City Council member and other elected officials. Star’s comments, made between May third and Monday, also included an offer of 500-dollars to any listener who could provide information about Envy’s daughter’s school. The station’s owner, Clear Channel, said it found Star’s statements “wholly unacceptable.” The show airs in markets including Philadelphia, Miami and Richmond, Virginia.
