My name is Tyra Bolling, better known as Tyra B. I was born and raised in Petersburg, Virginia. (2 up 2 down) Big shout out to the whole state of VIRGINIA and much love to everyone who has believed in me since I started singing at the early age of 10. In 2004, after writing and recording the single "Country Boy" produced by Danja Mowf, I caught the attention of independent record label GG&L Music, who eventually signed me to an exclusive recording contract. Not too long after, "Country Boy" gained national radio attention which led to my first music video shoot. The video made it on BET's 106 and Park countdown and climbed all the way up to 5.
I recorded my second single "Get No Ooh Wee", shot my second video, and was blessed enough to land a spot touring the country opening for Destiny's Child on their 2005 Destiny's Fullfilled summer tour.
