R&B singer/songwriter R. Kelly's Chicago, IL area mansion was acquired during a foreclosure auction Monday.

R. Kelly, Erykah Badu, Kirk Franklin and more have joined the line up for the first ever BET Experience, a multi-day event leading up to the 2013 BET Awards.

After the recent airing of the latest chapters in his Trapped in the Closet series on IFC and news that the series may be coming to Broadway, R. Kelly has now revealed he’s working on a book to full of back story information on the characters.

While the buzz around his decision to keep the “Trapped in the Closet” brand alive has received mixed reviews, Kellz is busy embarking on his Single Ladies Tour.

On Monday, R&B chameleon R. Kelly revealed to the Associated Press that he was offered the chance to bring his cast of colorful characters from The Trapped in the Closet series to New York’s famed theater district, even taking part in a few of the performances.

R. Kelly introduces even more characters, some which he plays in the upcoming chapters of his Trapped in the Closet series.

R. Kelly has selected Black Friday to release the continuation of his 'Trapped In The Closet' music series. The Grammy winner launched the series back in 2005 and it went on hiatus in 2007 after twenty-two chapters were released.

R. Kelly is nominated for two this year (the Ashford & Simpson songwriter’s award and Album of the Year), which totals 21 Soul Train nominations for Kelly, making him the most nominated act ever for the show.
