In December 2015, it was reported that Nas signed on to executive-produce an indie film titled The Land with Cleveland-bred artist Machine Gun Kelly starring Erykah Badu. Now listen to one of the songs from the soundtrack, a collab by Nas and Badu called “This Bitter Land.”
Hip Hop legend Nas recently kick started his fellowship program at Harvard University, which sees him sharing his expertise with the Universityâs new Hip Hop Archive program called The Nasir Jones Hip-Hop Fellowship.
In a recent sit down with The Huffington Post Nas spoke about the focus of his upcoming album, how he became involved with Hennessy’s “Wild Rabbit” campaign, and working with other music greats like Mariah Carey and Justin Timberlake among other things.
Nas was impacted by Amy Winehouse’s short life and musical career that he will continue to promote her legacy by donating a percentage from every ticket sold of his upcoming London show to the Amy Whinehouse Foundation.
