WHY MISHON MAKES TOP 30 UNDER 30:
First recognized for his character Taylor Sutton, a teenager on the NAACP Image Award winning ABC Family series 'Lincoln Heights,' Interscope recording artist Mishon is now a burgeoning R&B prince.
Releasing the singles "Excuse Me Mama" and "Just A Kiss," Mishon has garnered the attention of hitmaking producers including Sean Garrett and noted music industry publication Billboard.
But this burgeoning teen heartthrob insists he is a gentleman at heart, telling Singersroom; "I think (chivalry) is missing in the world
today".
Mishon talks recording and Hollywood... Keeping busy both in the studio and on the set of 'Lincoln Heights,' Mishon says its all in fun but, hard to say which he enjoys most.
-
In the studio...
"I think the best part of being in the studio was just working with
the different producers and writers and getting to see how they work and their
whole vibe of being in the studio and soaking up all that great energy.
"
- Acting class vs. choreography... "With acting classes it’s more mental and it’s psychological. I can tell you
that it is tougher for me, because I’m an athletic person, than taking a
choreography class because that’s always been a part of my life."
