Broadcast Music Inc. (BMI) honored Ester Dean with the top honor as the BMI Pop Songwriter of the Year along with Benny Blanco and Pitbull. Dean, a coveted songwriter, composed several hot records that dominated the radio including Rihanna's "What's My Name?," "Rude Boy," and "S&M," Nicki Minaj's "Super Bass" and Katy Perry's "Firework."
