On the heels of her new single "Never Should Have," the Grammy Award winner will release her heavily delayed project, Braveheart, on June 11, 2013 via Written Entertainment/ eOne Music.

Award-winning entertainer Ashanti has picked up a role on one of Lifetime's top series, "Army Wives."

Looks like Ashanti is about to get her Oprah on! The former Murder, Inc. songstress is gearing up to, not only host, but executive produce “Fuse News”: a daily half-hour music info show to be aired on Monday through Friday on the Fuse network.

Ashanti recently pushed her forthcoming album, "Braveheart," back to June 19, but in a recent interview the former Murder Inc. songstress seems unclear about meeting that date.

Ashanti's anticipated album "Braveheart" has reportedly been delayed. Originally due for release this month, UrbanBridgez reports the effort has been moved back to June 19.

Ashanti is ready to make another mark on music. The Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter has set April 17th for her forthcoming new album via label Written Entertainment/eOne. The set, reportedly titled 'Braveheart,' is led by the first single "The Woman You Love" featuring rapper Busta Rhymes and is produced by Jerry Wonder.

Over the years, Cash Money Records has opened its doors as a home to established and new artists alike. Recently, Lil Wayne revealed that Cash Money signed the Rock/Rap group Limp Bizkit. He then shared that Ashanti may become part of the Cash Money collective as well.

In promoting her rising single "The Woman You Love" this week, the former "Foolish" and "Always On Time" singer has compared the last three years of her life to getting out of a "black cloud."
